On June 16, 1971 Tupac Shakur was born. His career and his life were cut short upon his murder in 1996. Regardless, Pac remains an inspiration for many rappers today beit his friends Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, or J. Cole. His influence is even felt in contemporary rap, and honored today by Joey Bada$$. While in California for his Santa Cruz show, the Brooklyn rapper visited Power 106's The Cruz Show to deliver several freestyles over Tupac's classics like "Hail Mary", "I Get Around", and "Gangsta Party" for the legend's would be 44th Birthday.
